MUSICIAN AT MIDNIGHT

When I first met Eduardo, he had been to massage school and eager to try new experiences. I very much enjoyed our conversations about bones and anatomy.  Eduardo was very much into his music at that time  and playing guitar with a local band. He would entertain me with his newest tunes and stories of his latest love adventures. At that time he could only work late hours.  I think this painting reveals  the story of his life at that time.  I have asked him back to the studio on many occasions.  His assured and easy going manner, and amazing good looks make for the perfect model.  I have enjoyed watching his growth and maturity develop. This painting reminds me of youth and innocence. He loves to model with his girlfriends, important to him. I have done my best at capturing these moments of youth and love in the pages of my sketchbooks.
